The Adventure Auction is an exciting community event featuring unique and local adventure opportunities. Currently in it's third year, the event will be held at the Hocking College Student Center in Nelsonville, Ohio on April 24, 2010 from 6:00-10:00pm.

Proceeds from the Adventure Auction will benefit
Rural Action, a nonprofit organization promoting social, economic and environmental justice in Appalachian Ohio.

Many local businesses and individuals participate by donating items and services that will be used to create diverse adventure-themed packages. Contributions from caring businesses are critical to the success of this event.

The event will feature local food prepared by Purple Chopstix, live music by local jazz trio Las Cuerdas, wine and microbrews, as well as silent and live auctions.
